This would really scare me but I don't think it is impossible. I would first contact whoever is making your cake and see if they have a weight estimate because whatever you make will have to support each tier. A few lbs don't sound like a lot until you have a bunch of them tumbling off the table. I made our donut towers using candle sticks and chargers from Dollar Tree so I would suggest a similar setup but just stronger. Instead of using candlesticks (even though I used 2 per tier) which might be too wobbly, I would look for different heights of thick vases. Here are the donut towers I made to give you an idea of how mine looked.

I don’t have anything nearly as big or elaborate, but we’re renting our cake stand from our baker. Maybe yours has one or can refer you to where you can find one.

    Hi Theresa!

This sounds very scary to me too! As Sherry mentioned, before beginning to build something, definitely speak with the baker to get the weight of each cake. Whatever you build needs to be able to withstand all the different weights! You would need to get something of equal weight to test it during the process.
Definitely check out YouTube to see if you can find a tutorial on how to build a cake stand Smiley smile

As Jeanie mentioned, would you consider renting one from the baker if he/she has one?
