I mean, I got earrings as a gift from KMart and they recently broke. They were pretty thin and bendy, so...

Are you just looking to save money? We can probably find you an active JVL code, which will allow you to get bands from JVL Jewelry for just the cost of shipping, $25. LOTS of ladies on here have had positive experiences with them.

I got my e-ring and wedding band and fh wedding band all from walmart. I have not had any problems with mine and I love it. It is up to you but that is what we did.

JVL codes, they pop up from time to time. You just put in the code and it's only $25 to ship each ring (so $50 for two.) You can search the boards using the search box on the right, under the Topics box. Lots of ladies love their JVL rings.

I was trying to find an active code earlier with no luck. How soon do you need them?

We picked our rings from walmart. Nothing wrong with them at all. If you like them then go for it.

I second the Amazon.com idea. I've gotten FH 2 e-rings from there from 2 different sellers each only like $30. If you make sure it ships from amazon you can get free regular shipping.

We got rings made for us. My engagement ring is a family heirloom, so we wanted something to complement it. I would think with Amazon and these other places, you could probably find something better with a bit of searching.

Tanga.com has titanium and tungsten wedding bands for $15/each and free shipping. Their selection isn't as big as JVL but they look as good (a bride on a wedding blog recommended tanga.com)

I know some people might consider this ”tacky” (ugh, that word), or bad luck if you're superstitious (I'm not), but you can get really good deals on good quality jewelry at pawn shops.

I don't see anything wrong with, but I also have no idea what the quality is like. Are they gold plated (versus solid)?

We purchased our titanium bands from an Etsy seller. Mine was around $30 and his $40. My 100 year old family heirloom engagement ring was getting pretty banged up, so I wanted a cheaper durable metal for my band (I no longer wear my e-ring).

Sandra P I saw that this morning! If I didn't already have a ring I'd be on that Smiley smile I may get it just because it's so inexpensive Smiley smile

p.s. There is absolutely nothing wrong with shopping at Walmart. If you find a ring you like there, go for it. Your experience may be different from someone elses. I know a bride on here had a ring from Walmart that started to fall apart so they ended up getting one I think from JVL. I got my fh's ring from there (JVL) as a starter till I can get him a gold one. It's pretty nice and has some weight to it.

The only thing I can see isn't the quality of the metal, its the quality of the stones. Then again that is every jewelry store. If your looking for a reg gold / white gold band you should be ok. There is nothing wrong with shopping at walmart, I bought my sister a necklace, bracelet, and earrings for graduation (8 years ago) and they are all in good shape. They are just gold though, no stones.

My FH wanted a non-traditional ring and something that was super strong because he plans on "wearing it forever". LOL He opted for Tungsten. I was going to get the ring from Wal-Mart ($50 ring), but I saw that they get theirs from Wayfair. I went directly to Wayfair's site and ended up getting it like $6 cheaper with free shipping too. We both love the ring. It's very solid/heavy, and a jeweler told us a story of a man whose finer was saved from being cut off because the tungsten ring got caught in the door instead of his finger!!! We were sold - just not on the jewelry store price!
