wedding bands at walmart??

If you have a Belk their jewelry department is nice and affordable. FH got me $500 diamond hoop earrings on sale at Christmas for only $150. They use silver instead of gold so it helps with the cost.

We got ours from amazon, both came to about $87 had the celtic infinity knot engraved on them which is very significant to his family. They are very strong and the vendors are extremely efficient and helpful.

I think my biggest issue with a Walmart jewelry purchase would be what is their warranty like? I love my jeweler because they have an amazing lifetime warranty, and I don't even have to make it in for 6 month checks on the rings. I have white gold, so about once a year I will have to get them re-plated and this is ways free. They also cover replacement of ANY damage to the rings. The only thing it doesn't cover is complete loss (that's what insurance is for).

So to me I wouldn't be happy with Walmart. I think the extra money I spent to purchase from this jeweler is totally worth it.

I got mine on a black friday sale at sears. it was the only place i could find one that matched! it ended up being like $150 including warranty. SCORE!

we are getting the JVLs too- i got a code at a bosco's show. Do they expire? it doesnt say anything on there...

If you know what you want and walmart has it, i don't see anything wrong. if the price seems too good to be true then do some research. check the thickness of a band which can cause it to be cheaper than others. check how many carats. the more carats the more gold. the more gold the softer and more yellow the band is.

if you are buying diamonds again do research on all of the characteristics of the diamond that are important to you and see if walmart has it in stock.

it's not like a gucci or coach bag that will have the walmart logo displayed multiple times on your item. nobody will know but you where you got your ring from.

So you ladies are ok with your future husband purchasing a fake ring and you intend in the marriage being real? Seriously? I find my ring on walmart.com and I'm ready to run for the hills, he can't be serious?!? Omg
