Venue ideas

Nicole, on June 30, 2019 at 11:11 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
Hello! I need some help finding a venue that will do the ceremony and reception in the same place and have it be romantic and greenery every where. I want guests to feel like they're walking into a fairy tale. If you have any ideas for NJ/NY/PA please let me know!

My Venue is called Altamont Manor in Upstate NY. There are beautiful gardens with so much greenery! My FH and I chose this place as our venue for both ceremony and reception because of the gardens! I don't know what your guest list looks like people wise but the Manor can hold about 150. Plus the owner has been amazing so far! Let me know if you would like any more information! Hope this helps!

Check out Meredith Manor in Pottstown, PA. A friend of mine just got married there and it was gorgeous! They even remodeled their main event hall.

    Hi Nicole,
Have you looked at Bishop Farmstead in NJ? I am having my wedding there. It was a working farm for multiple generations. The grounds have been preserved by the state as open space. The site sits on 12 acres of greenery. They have a beautiful garden for the ceremony and the reception is inside the newly renovated big red barn. The venue can hold up to 200 people. JAM catering is the exclusive cater for this venue and they focus on fresh ingredients, farm to table food. Good luck with finding your venue!

We're getting married at Aldie Mansion in Doylestown. We love the building, the unique architecture, and of course their big tree - picture below! (how could you not!?)

I'd also recommend you check out Curtis Arboretum as I think it will really have that romantic greenery vibe that you are looking for. Like Bishop Farmstead, these are both Jeffery Miller venues.

We're less than a month away from our wedding and are so excited. They have a lot of unique food options since they make everything fresh in house, so that adds another layer of interest on top of your more traditional wedding food. We've just decided to add-on their gelato bar which has over 8 flavors of their house made gelato Smiley smile.

Hope this helps and good luck with the venue hunt!
