Veil or No Veil?

Are you going to wear a veil on your wedding day? If so, what style and length? Are you keeping it simple with a plain tulle veil? Wearing a blusher?? Did you fall in love with a veil with lace edging? Photo by Amelia Renee Photography in Des Moines, IA

I think i commented on this but if not my sister is letting me have her Cathedral veil and it also matches my lace on my dress 😊

I’m just having something in my hair in place of a veil. I don’t like short ones on me but I’m obsessed with the back of my dress so I don’t want it covered at all!

I'm so torn! I really want a simple veil, but when I went dress shopping EVERYONE that I went with - mom, MIL, grandmother, SIL all just ASSUMED that I will not be wearing one. They suggested a headpiece, which is just not my style.

I need to find an affordable veil that fits the style I am looking for.

I honestly never thought about a veil but im super untraditional and hate to fret with something on my face. My hubby and I lived together and tho we havent been together long we're pretty prob cynically so -- very pragmatic...

but if you feel it in your core....like imagine your wedding with and without it.... would you feel any regret (think either way) ---- that'll give your answer

As a nod to my fiancé's lithuanian heritage, I am skipping the veil and wearing a flower crown instead, which is traditional for lithuanian weddings!

Yes I am wearing a Cathedral veil. My mother wants me to wear a blusher. Is anyone wearing both?

I decided on a elbow length veil. It’s very simple (trimmed in a diamond beading). I might add a tiara or some other hair accessory.

I am wearing a veil. Its sheer with a lace edging. Its not too long. It reaches just past my shoulders. Its perfect with my all lace dress. I believe it is to each is own. It depends on the person and the dress.

I wore a veil but it didn't cover my face. I can't stand that look lol the beaded trim of the veil matched perfectly with my dress.

Hi All. No wedding veil. Being older, we are going casual. I have seen a dress I love on the internet but being from England, the postage is $101. I cannot believe that. So I am struggling to find another perfect dress. Lesley-ann

I’m wearing a veil with beading on the edges that compliments the embellishments on my dress. It’s a shorter length which is perfect for my height. May take it off for the reception though

I think I am for the ceremony and pictures only. Every salon I went to they put me in this fingertip veil with a beaded edge that I really liked so I made that decision before the dress actually!
