I don’t think I’ll be wearing a veil. I hate weddings to begin with and veils are just icing on the cake(pun intended). He and I have a child together and live together and already operate as a family unit. Veils are meant to unmask the sacrificial virgin, of which, I’m not.

Not yet! We are choosing the trim this week once the lace for my dress arrives so that I can confirm color! I’ll for sure post a picture when it arrives. It takes her about 2 weeks to make it.

Fair enough if thats how you feel - totally valid ! I think most people view a veil as an accessory to (potentially) enhance the chosen wedding outfit rather than it being as a symbol of a sacrificial virgin though
