Okay so I am having a small wedding (45 people). Because of this, I don't want to have traditional guest book because a lot of it will just be blank. I was thinking about having note cards w invelopes that are the color of my wedding and have them out it in a pretty glass case, but I can't find note...

Any other unique ideas that you tried or heard of?

The Tree's on etsy are really cool... thats what i would do. Just search on etsy for guest book, or browse the wedding catagory- it comes up on the home page at the top. (plus you will see alot of other cute ideas when searching).

I think we are going to go with a nontraditional route. I want something that will be looked at daily and as a reminder of how great (hopefully) my day was. I think we are going to do one of these. We will use our last name and have the guest sign around it.

Thanks! It's really cute. I was going to do a tree initially, but I'm worried that if people don't sign for whatever reason I'll have a bunch of blanks that might look weird...

Shutterfly is constantly having deals on their photo books so I was thinking of soing a photo books with pictures of FH and I through the years and having people sign that as a guest book sort of like a grown up year book

I think the tree's are cute but if you have more than a few people that tree picture has gotta be huge for everyone to fit

We are doing guest book table numbers. Each table gets it own book to write or draw in.

I love that tree idea, Reese's Pieces! Absolutely gorgeous! I'd love to do something like that but with 100 people, as other girls have stated, I'm not sure it would work out so well. I think we are going to do what alot of girls are doing and make a photo book with Shutterfly or MyPublisher or something, unless I see something else that catches my eye in the meantime.

Thanks girls for all the suggestions! I really love the tree idea and would totally do it, but a friend of mine who will be at my wedding did the same thing last month..and yes sadly I am one of hose brides who can't do what someone else did. Lol. I went and found a vase that is gorgeous for 10 bucks at tj Maxx so I just need to figure out what kind of cards I'm going to use.

    Heres the vase!

    This is what I'm doing:

Basically it's what you already mentioned - they will just be plain card stock in our colors and I will have a jar where everyone can write their well wishes and thanks to us and place it into the jar

Pinterest had another great idea. They had puzzle pieces that are white. You place them scattered on the tables and collect them at the end of the night. People can draw pictures or say cool things Smiley smile Then you get to put it together ... one year anniversary with cake maybe Smiley smile

We are doing a thumbprint tree. I found a really neat one on etsy where there is a picture of us in the tree. I love it! It will be framed and on our wall after the wedding.

I saw these and thought they were really cool. I wanted to do the frame one but we ended up with the traditonal book since it went with our firefighter theme.

I'm having bird designs die-cut by an etsy shop on fancy paper (my wedding has a mild bird theme) so guests can write a message on a bird and drop them into a birdcage. My plan is to add them to our scrapbook later.
