Transportation for bridal party

Jess, on January 1, 2018 at 9:42 AM

I'm booking my last vendor: transportation. Do the dates of the bridal party ride in the limo/party bus with the bridal party and bride and groom or is it just the bridal party? I'm just trying to figure out how many seats I'll need in the party bus.

The groom and his groomsmen have to arrived earlier then you to the ceremony. So I would say separate tranpostation for you and your bridesmaids and don’t worry about theirs dates .... about alcohol it’s up to you!! It’s your wedding and your money so you decide!!!

Thank you! We are doing a first look, then freshening up at the ceremony site.
Thank you for answering my question and not posting about unrelated topics.

I would have SO's drive themselves, the time in the limo/partybus is special time for you and your girls, they can meet up with their dates at the reception, as far as alcohol I didn't see your earlier post so I think it's all up to you, it's your day!

A party without alcohol is not a party. It's just a reunion.

Maybe a school bus for transportation?

Since everyone will be seated and not partying

The bus will take us to do pictures, then to the ceremony, then to the reception, where there cars will already be.

Thank you! We were originally considering a consumption bar, but it's not
    longer needed.

Maybe for you. But for my guests, they don't need alcohol to have fun. But thanks soooo much for your input.

I think I've seen it mentioned before that the SOs wouldn't usually ride with the BP, because the BP needs a means of transportation after the reception is over. So the SOs would have the vehicle they're both leaving in. If that makes sense?
Outside of those logistics, I don't think there's any rule that says the SOs can't ride along. It just doesn't always make the most sense because of transportation needs at the end of the reception.

Every child's birthday party, baptism, first communion, quince, I've ever been to had alcohol. It's a poor excuse not to have one. I would skip a limo, a party bus, Venetian hour, and other frivolous things to host at least a consumption bar. If any type of bus 🚌 a school bus would be best for the occasion.

Just know that they probably won’t be dancing. I also don’t need alcohol to have a good time, but there is NO way I would dance without it.

I would think just the bridal party on the bus and the SOs have alternate transportation. Maybe a limo instead of a party bus?
