The wedding was wonderful :)

So it's been almost three weeks since the big day, but I haven't updated to let everyone know how it went! For those of you that may remember my 3am post on the day of my wedding, I wasn't feeling well. I still didn't feel very well in the morning, but everything else went well. My makeup appointment went flawlessly, and when we were getting dressed at DH's great aunt's house, they made us a yummy breakfast. We got my dress on without any problems (except covering the bathroom in baby powder LOL) and the limo even arrived a half hour early. We got our pictures done, but on the way to DH's grandparents' house (where the shindig was going down) my stomach was more and more upset. When we got there, I literally commandered a bedroom, had my MOH take off my dress, and kicked everyone out so I could have alone time and eat some pretzels. We had a few minor issues before the ceremony--on our way to DH's grandparents', our photographer (who was driving in his own car) got a flat tire, and

The officiant (who was supposed to be there at 1:30) called me because she was lost. Luckily I was able to direct her to the house and she was there by 1:45. The ceremony was supposed to start at 2, but we didn't start til probably 2:10 because we were waiting on DH's mom's parents, who were running late and said they should be there at 2:05, but then called and said it'd be another 15 minute, and since I was feeling so sick to my stomach I said, We're not waiting. All I had wanted to do all morning was see DH! I swear, I had to keep myself from sprinting down the aisle and flinging myself into his arms LOL

The ceremony was short and sweet, and we proceeded into the house afterwards to give guests a few moments to clear out so we could go back out and do pictures. As DH and I went to walk outside, he accidentally stepped on my train and broke my bustle! This is the first of 4 times the bustle broke (the other three times were all me). DH's grandma fixed it so we could get pictures.

We did family pics and then were whisked off to do our group pics, which took us less than an hour! When we proceeded into the reception, I went to close the front door (we walked out of the house to enter the reception) and my train totally caught in the door! LOL (Break #2). Toasts went well, and dinner was delicious. Breaks 3 and 4 happened in that time span as well. Everyone had a great time, there was lots of dancing and laughter. I shoved cake in DH's face during cake cutting Smiley tongue I couldn't pass up that opportunity! The weather was clear and the perfect temp--not cold, but not too hot. Could not have asked for a more beautiful day. The only slightly down part of the day was that my stomach felt better after being outside, but I couldn't eat much of our dinner since I hadn't eaten much in the past 24 hours and my stomach was getting upset when I tried to eat Smiley sad
