Planning and decorating and cooking all the food for your own wedding WAS EXHAUSTING. But I will say it was worth it. Here are some pictures of decorations and venue. It was a beautiful day...AND...I got a huge deal & got this venue for $500.00 and was able to bring all decorations over on Thursday and was able to decorate all day Friday and had access all day Saturday.

    You and your team made it happen though! It looks wonderfully bright and elegant. I love the photo area, geometric shapes are my thing. Congratulations!!! You cooked the food too?!? What was on the menu?

    Thank you! But OMG...there was no team. It was my husband & I & the day we went to decorate the directors daughter happened to come in & helped me decorate for 7 hours! I was soooo very thankful. Could not believe she was doing it. And yes ma'am...all of the food. We had a taco bar so I cooked 25 lbs of hamburger meat & 10 lbs of shredded chicken, prepped all of the toppings, made "wedding" meatballs, 2 cheese balls, 2 vegetable trays, a fruit tray, and I also had chicken wings (my oldest son's choice), mini cheesecakes & macaroons. I was exhausted decorating and cleaning up. I tried to do the cooking and prepping the 2 days before when I could but had to cook the meat the night before. Whew....

    Thank you. You won't believe this but to rent that set up its about $450 & the ladies at the community center just left it up for me from the wedding the week before. I lucked out on many things. Thank you for the sweet comment. When the lights went down and the ceiling lit up, it was pretty!
