Thank You Gifts

Biscuit, on July 2, 2013 at 4:49 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

I'd like to give a small gift / token of appreciation to some of the people who've been most helpful with planning at the church & reception venues, in addition to a thank you note. Any ideas?

Edit: The gifts would be for the event coordinator at the venue, the wedding coordinator, the music coordinator, & ceremony coordinator at church.

I did hangers with the ladies names on them from Etsy and they all loved it

For a group you could do a basket of fruit or treats - I love Wine Country Baskets (cheap and great options)

Not looking to spend a whole lot, just a little token. It would be for the event coordinator at the venue, the wedding coordinator, the music coordinator, & ceremony coordinator at church.

My host couples are getting a gift card to a restaurant for a dinner out. My personal attendants are getting a personalized wine glass koozie with their initials, along with a bottle of their favorite wine (or for the girl flying in from Virginia, a gift card for a bottle at her favorite shop out there). Hopefully that goes over well!

EDIT: My mom is a church wedding coordinator and most couples don't even recognize her presence until the wedding day, when they're panicking. She had one girl give her a Starbucks gift card and she was practically in tears. A little can go a long way with the people who help in the background!

@ Kiley, thanks for the info. I've talked to our church wedding coordinator several times, and she's given plenty of additional great tips on vendors, saving money, general pointers, etc. I always say thanks, but want her to know how much I value all the great advice.

Also, our venue coordinator always answers my e-mails within a few hours or right away the next day - she even answered over a weekend when she doesn't normally work (and I was NOT expecting it - I felt bad I waited until Monday to check)!
