What is your out look on letting fh or dh go to the strip club. This topic came up today with me and my other half.

About 10 years ago, I was giving an online psychological test to my former mother-in-law. One of the questions was, "Do you flirt with cute waiters?" She immediately said, "Why, yes!" At the time, she was well into her 80s, and had been married to the same guy for about 60 years.

Look at it this way, almost all guys will look at porn, some wont admit it, but almost all guys do. At least if they are going to the strip club then they aren't killing the computer with all the porn they would download instead! Smiley smile

Seriously though, I have no problem with him going to a strip club with his buddies, why would I want to stop them from having a good time together where the food is incredibly cheap? I don't mind him looking, and its not like he will be touching anything at a strip club, so he's not going there to cheat, so no need to freak out. And in all honesty my bachelorette will probably be much wilder than anything those boys could come up with, and he knows it!

I am not against strip clubs. The closest strip club to where we live is about 25 mins out of town. However, I don't want him to go alone, not because I don't trust him, but its not fair to me. lol. I love going to the strip club, its fun, and its different, and if he is going to make the 25 min drive, I want to go. lol. These women really are not there to steal your man. They are there for whoever wants to pay honestly. It is a job. Some choose to work retail, and some choose to work in other ways. Either way, its paying the bills. So, me and FH go together. We both enjoy it, and we always make a party out of it. We normally go with my cousin and her gf, and his other friend. I have friends in the profession as well, and there is nothing wrong with them. That is just what they want to do for a living, but it doesn't mean that she is a bad person.

OLD SPICE GUY! Holy sexonastick. :] Mmm.

And with that I'll add, we're human beings. Sex is kinda our thing. If sex or sexual attraction is a taboo subject in your relationship/marriage, then there's not a whole lot of honesty in that relationship, is there? FH and I are both completely honest about the fact that we DO notice other people. Neither of us have any intention/desire to act upon any attraction. Actually, I find it interesting. When he tells me he likes something on another girl it's usually in a way that relates to me such as "Wow. That's a low cut shirt... Let's ask her where she got that." *wink*

    He's a dog. But he's MY dog. :]

And I know I've said this before, but Carmen, I love that you're willing to put yourself out there without any reservations.... Even when your opinion isn't the popular opinion of the thread. You go girl. You've got serious guts. :]

My main problem with them where I live is not that they are there and the guys can go but there is few places for the male oggling crowds to go except for house parties. I have not worked the industy but a friend of mine did. She left to find better 9-5 job but went back after her fiance was killed in a auto accident because it could pay all the bills and support her kids. As for my current relationship its a mute point as we both rather spend time together than at the clubs anyway.

@Carmen, I used to be a closed-minded indivdual when it came to strip clubs because of everything that hollywood made them out to be. I was tricked into going to a "Gentleman's Club" which in my opinion is classy compared to those "biker club" looking strip bars. I rather enjoyed myself. It was entertaining to watch these ladies dance. Other than the fact, they took off their clothes they were dancing no differently than I would. I have been to several since then and I have still yet to see these ladies cross the line with any of the customers. I have a few friends who are exotic dancers and I can't say they are not out to get my man or anyone else's. I feel perfectly comfortable with my FH going to a gentleman's club, heck, I would even join him.

Plus am not worried about the "strippers" taking my man because in my experience it is usually someone you know or someone they work with they end up cheating with.

I FEEL opinion not fact that most men, and some may disagree, really do want more than just sex. Yes in the teens and early twenties they may say that's all they want, but then I rarely find one from that age group I would consider a man. So yes a man can go to a club and be turned on a bit by a dancer ( and trust me they don't always like movie stars or our lovely carmen) But truthfully the sexiest thing to a man (and several have told me so) is making love to the woman ( or man) that loves them for who they are faults and all.

Totally against. And I am 100% ok with myself and our relationship, I just don't care for it. :o) Kudos to the ladies and their mates that are cool with it.
