I think we should apologize to whoever 'douche' is for associating his name with Obama's.

Yes, I called the Almighty Obama a douche. But, alteast I gave him the credit for doing a better job cleaning vajayjays than being president!

Chelsea, agree that you have nothing to apologize for. You stated your comment in a non-threatening way. I read your original post and two or three after it and then decided not to read any further, because I had a feeling things would take a wrong turn.

So, I simply stopped reading.

Carole, only the best WW thread ever! Not only did I get to use the word vagina, I also got my head ripped off for suggesting the value of civility, and then took a shot of whiskey at my desk.

Oh, and Keith Richards gave out all sorts of drugs, AND there was a Beatles reunion concert! Even the dead ones. It was beyond awesome.

Chelsea don't apologize. most of the women on here are adults and like to take part in adult conversations, regardless of personal opinion. that is one of the pillars of an adult conversation, agreeing to disagree but still respecting opinions.

however there are girls on this site, and i'm calling them that because they are acting like 7th grade children, that want to act like brats and throw tantrums if they don't get their way.

please continue to post your opinions about world events. there is more to the female mind that garters and cake fillings. yes, we are getting married but our lives and brains don't stop after we say "I Do".

Background: Basically about the government shutdown, I had saw on the Chicago news today where they showed a news confrence Obama held and had said that (again as I have said before these are not his exact words, but the gist of what he said) that going on with the shutdown will only hurt the recovering economy and that Washington not being able to get it together is unacceptable and I said that for once this is something he said that I agree with. and that was it. I remember I had got off to get ready for me and FH to go somewhere when he got home and there was 40 something comments on it, then I got back on, saw this thread, and I got to thinking.. must have been my thread that got deleted.. and it was. so yeah. that's what you missed
