*yes I am yelling* ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRR. A heated debate of any sorts about any topic is okay, this is the real world and the internet. No death threats... yet. Let people discuss. This is getting ridiculous! *waiting to get flagged and deleted...*

Just keep it within the confines of a wedding conversation. Come on ladies. I know you can get creative. ; )

@Chelsea, I don't think you need to apologize and you didn't offend me at all! I don't think anyone needs to apologize who participated in that thread, it was very tame as far as political conversations can go, but I have seen politics bring out the ugliest side of people (in both parties) and have seen things go way too far.

I personally, wouldn't be stoked if the WW environment became consumed with politics. Like I said, I'm a student, I listen to plenty of talk radio, I also have a democrat activist mom and a tea party activist step-father in law. Needless to say, I get my fill and hope I don't have to find it here. Thankfully I am well versed in how to use the scroll button and I don't use the flag button, but sometimes I can't help but be pulled in.

Okay, Carole. And WW Zeus n' company:

I am sorry to report that our democratically elected bouquet has failed to learn how to compromise on the guest list ceiling, and therefore, there will be no wedding. Any vendors deemed nonessential/plus-one status will be furloughed, while photographers will have to shoot, but get paid later. Maybe.

@Shannon....See, now that was spot on. That is how you do it. Smiley winking I completely agree with you.

With regard to debates about whether I should have an open bar and charge it on my Visa @29% interest or simply serve beer and boxed wine, and pay cash, I usually avoid them. lolol

Personally I think it was a mistake to vote in Obama....but the democrats wanted a superstar....they got one.

He is socialist....he does not think like an american. The only reason why he got voted in was because everybody was so displeased about Bush. The people wanted anything but Republican.....and yes I am black (as it is called)

    Oh no, here we gooooooo.....

You know, since it's all going to devolve into name-calling and outrageousness, let's just make stuff up and see if anyone believes it. I'll start:

I voted for Obama, but only because he came to my house and used his Kenyan birth certificate to dust the living room. And then he told me he's not really Kenyan, he's from the Planet O:EUTNRTIGHWA@98R%i*YTH!

Which looks suspiciously like what you get when I bonk my head into the keyboard, but I swear that's what he said!

Boehner's skin color comes from a steady diet of captive Oompa-Loompas, AND, he's that guy who put a rotten egg in your mailbox on Halloween 1996.
