Surprised when? Are you engaged already? are you trying to hide it until the wedding? Need more info.

I think that's silly, but if you want it to be a surprise for whatever reason, go for it...

I am trying to surprise my parents by not showing them my wedding ring. I am going to be married in 23 days. yes i am engaged already just got the wrap put on my engagement ring and picked it up yesterday. yes i am hiding my ring, his ring and our wedding gifts in a save that we have. my wedding is June 2,2012. i want my parents to be surprised when he puts the ring on my finger. the only reason i had see the ring was because i had to try it on and i am not going to look at it until the wedding day.

I want to be surprised and my parents too. when i tried it on i only had it on for 5 seconds and put it in the ring box and when i got home it went in the save. and its going to stay there until the wedding. no one is going to see until the day of the wedding.

I showed my mom our wedding bands...I've never heard of surprising your parents on what they will look like.

I've never heard of this either. Mine is also in the safe, but only so I don't lose it. Everyone has asked what it looks like, and I have described it to them. Regardless if they see it or not, everyone at your wedding will be wanting to see the ring... just like when you got engaged. I would suggest showing it to them in the box, and not on your finger... it will still be a surprise on the married finger after the wedding.

FH has shown people what his wedding ring looks like already, so not a big deal. I keep it safe in my jewellery box. Haven't bought my ring yet, but when we do I have no problem showing people.

I think it's kinda silly since it isn't something for them, plus you've already seen it even if it was only for 5 seconds on the wedding day you won't be surprised.

You seem to have your mind made up, so why even ask this question?

Sounds kinda silly...maybe your FH should have blindfolded you and tried it on for size...then you would be surprised.
