My fiancé & I would love to get married this December on a very strict timeline & budget. Venue isn't a problem and neither is food as we will be providing it ourselves. Any brides have advice to cut costs & time?

@future LC As a meat, it should be kept warm/hot and cooked. My family and I cook those in a crock pot with BBQ and then the crock pot can be unplugged and moved out for serving.
Oh and there's the Bold and underline NO ALCOHOL part I've been waiting for.
ETA: @OP..I have to ask, is this a troll post or are you actually seriously wanting to go THAT cheap to sacrifice your guests comfort and experience? Which one is it?
Its a very casual event for my family, FH, & close friends. And I know not having alcohol at a party is a bummer but my dads and step moms wedding a couple of years ago turned into a huge nightmare because of it. So eliminating it all together would most definitely be in best interest.
Aubrie, 9/10 people are telling you these things are bad ideas. Why do you insist on finding a way to make them acceptable? Serious question.
While it's a casual event, wouldn't you love the opportunity to hang out with your guests and get candid photos, or make some awesome memories together instead of someone being stuck in a kitchen or having to check on burning weenies? Besides the safety issue, it simply isn't a good idea if you want to actually interact with people. My aunt hires servers for family parties to make sure drinks don't run out and food gets set up/replenished so she can be a part of the photos and be a part of everything that happens instead of missing. Don't make people miss out on stuff so you can save a few bucks.
