Short or Long Engagement?

Short - I would say 😂 engaged in December getting married in June!

We gave ourselves about a year and a half

Long 4yrs 7-2014/7-2019

Short! 7 months from proposal to wedding day

On the short to midrange. Just shy of 8 months for us 🙂

10 months. I wouldn't say short or long since ours is probably right in the middle. i have heard the average length of engagement is about a year.

We will have been engaged 2 years a week before the wedding in August

We are doing a long engagement to help spread out the financial cost. our venue was cheaper to book by doing 2 years out. we only had to put 25% down instead of 50%.

Long! Our wedding date is the 1000th day of our engagement. Finally almost here!

Relatively short. We got engaged Dec. 8, 2018 and are getting married May 11, 2019

Long! 17 months

Long, our wedding date is 1/2/21. We love the date (it's a palindrome!). We are also paying for the wedding ourselves and want to give ourselves time to save without going broke. We both have very busy stressful jobs and didn't want to feel crunched for time planning wise.

Long - 15 months by our wedding in June 😬 little longer than we wanted but it was for family

So very long! My fiancée and I decided we would get married during our first year of college, but we also decided to wait until we graduated and got financially stable before we actually got married. We have a date set now for 2021 and I couldn’t be happier. We both graduated college and have our jobs.
