Short or Long Engagement?

Ours will be a little over 19 months before the big day but we planned it that way so we could have the celebration we wanted while giving our out of town guests (basically our entire guest list) plenty of time and options. We will also *knock on wood* start our marriage without any wedding debt.

14 months from January 2019 to April 2020

We'll be engaged for a year. The only reason we are even waiting a year is because we really like April for a wedding. Otherwise we would probably only take a couple months to plan everything.

Our engagement was 546 day, but we only have 44 days left!!!

Short! 8 Months from the day of engagement!

Ours is long. Got engaged in May of 2018 and getting married November 2019 💍

Long - 3 years we decided to get married but from start of planning to wedding date 5 months.

I guess I can say my engagement is long I got proposed to on my birthday in 2018 and we are getting married 2020. I don't know whats long but I do know whats short, a coworker put herself on a time frame she got married 9 months after she got engaged, Ive learned a lot of (what not to do) by watching and listening to her doing her wedding. My maid of honor was engaged for 15 years before she said got married...

We were engaged on Valentine's this year. Our wedding is June 6,2020.
We need to save up since we are paying ourselves, and I'm doing my own flowers, as a floral designer, I want time to prepare and create and I knew I didn't want to stress myself and try for this June.
I'm a planner by nature and that's half the fun.
Ask me... and it's a loooooong engagement
Ask my fiancee ...and he would say it's a short one, and the time is moving quickly he's the one watching the budget and liked more time to save up.

Wedding: 8/24/19.

Less than 9 months.

I don't regret that choice, but I would like it more if FH and I stopped getting sick every few weeks...
