Short or Long Engagement?

We planned over 2 years but already have 2 kids and are doing a destination wedding.

Six months! It felt standard when we set it, but it's less time than the average engagement

Long, ours was 2.5 years. We decided to buy a house first, so we had to start over in terms of saving. No regrets though!

We will be engaged 1 year and 7 months when we get married .

A long engagement due to me dealing with the death of my youngest sister from Cancer.

Long. We have lots of family from out of state and country and we want to give them plenty of time to plan their travels. We have set the date for just over 2 years from now.

Our engagement will be just the right size. We recently got engaged and we are getting married Nov. 13, 2020. We are almost all the way through planning already. By the beginning of next year the only thing left to do will be send out invites.

Shortish 9 months

Engaged: 7/4/18

Getting Married: 4/27/19

I had a year and a couple of
months engagement. I felt it was pretty long. But, it was very helpful being long, because I had time to save up for my big day.

Our engagement was long. 2 years 3 months-he doesn't think this was long lol

Short; 6 months

Mine was a short engagement (almost 6 months), but I find it as the perfect amount of time since we're only inviting 130 persons. We got engaged in December (Christmas Day) and we're getting married in June 14 of this year. We got our venue, cake, tuxedo, cake, etc. within the 1st week after getting engaged. I got my dress in less than 1 month and the rest of the details were ready in about 3 months. It has been an amazing journey preparing for our new adventure. I couldn't have been more blessed than this, praise God for His goodness!💕

Long its a 17 month engagement

Long- engaged April 2018 wedding is June 2019, 14 months.

Long, TWO YEARS BUT COMING TO A CLOSE VERY QUICKLY!!!!

Long. Got engaged in may 2017 and getting married October 2019

Ours was about a year long engagement! I totally would’ve done 6 months if the circumstances of school and moving back to our hometown weren’t in the equation! 💕 But it’ll be worth it nonetheless! Waiting makes it all worthwhile in the end! 🎉🎊

My wedding day is on our 3rd year anniversary.. We got engaged on our 2nd year anniversary.. This way we only have to remember the 1 date.. lol
