Short brides - show me your dresses!

I'm 5'3 & FH is 6'1. I picked out 4" heels but I'm still not sure how my feet will hold up the day of.

ETA: everyone looks so great in their dresses! and honestly if not for the topic headline, I ever would've guessed that everyone wasn't tall.

I'm so excited! I picked up my dress on the weekend from the seamstress, and it is gorgeous! I ordered it from online store, it looks great but only needs a little alteration. Hey ladies, I have a question and I feel like this post could help me because I'm kind of a short bride.. So I'm looking at dresses and I found this one that was bought for a wedding, never used due to the couple eloping instead of having a wedding. I'm unable to try this dress on, but it says its a (Label size 6 street size 6,) hemmed to fit a 5'1''... I'm 5'2'' but this dress is absolutely gorgeous at a price I really can't beat... would this dress be to short on me? or does anyone know about where on my feet/ankles it would sit?

I know it doesn't help much but I don't wear dresses normally... so I have no real Idea what my measurements are other than my height...

I so agree and wish that short women would be included in this world of Positive inclusive stuff. People can be everything gay obese anything etc....but short Is a demographic completely erased ignored and entirely laughed at ...but almost everyone has some petite people be it their moms gramma or whomever who are petite. Yet it's a given thing to laugh. It is so time 2019 for us to be as gorgeous as Giraffes....it is Ok to be short even if the world only can ever laugh ...we don't choose height lol like we don't choose skin color so ...we need lots more Fashion, style, and wedding stuff for us same as anyone does!!! Go us lol ..

I am 4 foot 9 theses aren't too good pictures but my dress is beautiful I'm petite but have a big bust my dress needed to be taken in of course priced at 1700 got it for 499.

I'm 5'1" and will be wearing 3 inch heels. I got a mermaid silhouette because I felt it was more flattering for my short height, but I also paid extra for alterations to raise the flare point because it was hitting below my knees, which made my legs look disproportionate and short...

Just me, no heels and no platform, pre-alterations obviously.
