September Brides - Postponing or Waiting?

You could wait it out a little longer (maybe end of June, beginning of July?), but do you already have a Plan B in place?

Honestly, that is a lot of people for an event in California. Since the state is starting to open back up a little at the end of the week, you could wait and see how that goes but I would recommend having a Plan B.

It will also depend I think on how big your venue is. If your venue is big and you could have more space between people and if you can have it outside, I think those will be helpful in being allowed to have a big wedding.

Have you reached out to your venue yet, or have they said anything to you?

I have the same date in CA. I live in Lake County CA. I have been emailing all my local officials like crazy trying to get an answer out of them. In our last town hall meeting they mentioned groups larger than 50 will likely not be allow through the end of the year. I currently have 130 guests I can limit it to 50, but I don't want to. Our entire county has only had 8 cases and 6 of them have fully recovered. Our venue is owned by two people who work in the medical field (a nurse and a dialysis center manager) they have not said anything about limiting our guest count or even said anything about postponing.

I'm glad to see the PP because I don't have any specific knowledge about CA. That is a large group of people, but the phases of reopening will vary from place to place.
