I think you should wait it out a little bit because it would really suck to cancel this far out and have been able to have it then in the end. The news is changing daily so just keep an eye out for changing conditions and come up with a plan B just in case.

Girl breathe! We just moved everything to August. I would definitely let things play out and focus on staying healthy. I think you can re-evaluate closer to September.

My wedding is August 1st and I’m honestly not worrying at all at this point. Who knows what could happen in that amount of time. Don’t let the panic consume you. Regardless of what we’re all hearing, everything is eventually going to be okay again.

Why? With what the news just said things should be getting back to normal in about 8 weeks. It’s going to be slow, but things will go back to normal

Agreed. I understand the anxiety but September is far enough away to keep the plan. Personally my wedding could be this weekend and I would still have it.

My FH's mom is recovering from cancer and severely immunocompromised. Neither of us could imagine going ahead without her, so we made the tough call. Just means you guys get to deal with me for a lot longer!

Literally NOTHING good comes from stressing about it. There is nothing I can change about the situation right now, so why live in a constant state of worry? If I have to postpone our wedding, then so be it. Would it suck?...yes. Would I get over it?...also yes. Honestly, our wedding isn’t even what I’m excited for. I just can’t wait for my fiancé to be my husband and to finally have the same last name as our son Smiley heart the wedding will be fun, but I’m just here for the commitment.

I understand the importance of having her there. That is sweet. I hope the process gets less stressful.

We feel a lot better now that things are moving. It's a huge relief. And honestly it just feels better in general. And now to try not to hit the carbs.

I wouldn't worry about cancelling in September Smiley smile I think that you're going to be okay. I think (as PPs probably said) you should make sure there is something about a "pandemic" in your venue/vendor contracts that can cover any financial loss if you end up needing to cancel/postpone, but other than that, I would definitely wait on cancelling. Keep an eye on the news, wait until August.
