And also...my hair dresser lived in the same town as i did. she lived only a couple of houses away from the church where my ceremony was. so she could've easily told me to come to her house after the ceremony and to quickly curl up the messed up hair. she was charging 60 bucks for that hair style so at least she could've had the decency & fix it!!!!

i just don't understand why my hair did get messed up. this hair dresser supposedly had good opinions. she does wedding hairstyles all the time. she had so much experience. she does high class hairstyles. and she even did my bridesmaids' hair so nicely! why did she mess up my hair???? does anyone have a clue what could've went wrong??

i feel so much regret after seeing the photos. on the day of the wedding, even though i knew my hair got messed up, all the nerves let me forget all about it. but then after seeing the photos & how i look, i can't believe why i wasn't more needy and called for her to fix my hair!

Yes, or maybe you could've written a review in the "reviews" section.

Well it's because i'm actually the exact opposite. and sometimes i wish i was a little demanding b/c then i'd maybe get what i want when paying for it.

and hair trials have nothing to do with it. it comes out different each time.

and also....this is a wedding advice forum. not a marriage advice. so thats why i'm focused on writing about the wedding part for all you future brides

Honey, if you're REALLY fretting about your hair almost a year after your wedding.....by all means, go write a review, maybe let the stylist know (although it will do NOTHING because you should've taken care of this the DAY OF) just to get it off your chest. I think most of know when to speak up if we don't like something, doesn't mean we have to be mean and demanding.

Ok so let's back track. i'll give helpful advice rather than complaints Smiley winking

    1. stick to natural hairstyles- something thats more you on an every day basis. that way the hairstyle might not be so risky

    2. make sure you tell the hairdresser how you feel. don't be afraid to constructive criticism.

    3. make sure someone close from your family has just in case : iron curler, bobby pins, and hair spray.

i hope this is helpful advice for your wedding days!

Hair trials are EVERYTHING. It's not going to be exactly the same down to the exact placements of each individual hair folical, but it should be pretty damn close...if it's not, find something or someone different.

Saying trials have nothing to do with it is baaaad advice.

Yep what Ashley P said..also everyone's hair is a bit different, texture, length, thickness etc so a natural hairstyle isn't necessarily a better one or one every bride should have.

OMG I love this! Why didn't somebody tell me beforehand that I should have kept a curling iron and hairspray.... in my garter maybe?

If your curls fell, it's probably because your hair doesn't hold a curl. Shocking. If you did a trial, and kept it in all day, you'd know that your hair doesn't hold a curl. And then done a full top knot like I will probably do Smiley smile

and I'll still have a trial

I feel so bad for her....she's so hurt it took her almost a year to be able to post this. I sure hope my hairdresser doesn't mess my hair up. She just happens to be one of my best friends, and refuses to do a trial till a week before the wedding cuz she's afraid she'll forget what she did.

OMG you people are totally being mean. She was I think just trying to convey that you should be sure you like your hair before you leave the salon.

Im wearing my hair prety damn close to what I wear it like regularily so I don't look back and go "whats with the stupid hair do?"

I think I would have messed your hair up intentionally if you were this bothersome in real life!

I feel like hunting trolls Smiley smile
