It's seems like you "take the bait" and before reacting to your FIL's maybe take a step back and consider if it's a battle worth fighting. This has more to do with your own reactions than your FH's response to his family.

Ha I'd help you make centerpieces just so you could post a thousand selfies haha we live in the digital age, everyone takes selfies.
