Me and my fiance were together on and off for 12 years before he proposed lol

A little under 4 years! And my mom said that is waaaaayyy to long hahaha

My FH and I were dating for about 2.5 years when he proposed!

A little over 3 years!

We were together for 1.5 year - we both were getting out of abusive relationship and knew what exactly what we wanted.

No proposal for us because we knew we wanted to marry each other even before moving in together.
We were together 5 years before getting engaged but had there been a proposal, I'm pretty sure I would have proposed to him.

We had planned a romantic Tuscan trip for our 4 year anniversary, we talked about the ring 6 months before. The pandemic hit at the exact time so he waited until this Spring ‘21 instead, proposing at 5 years. We’re getting married in 2022, making it 6 years dating and 7 years knowing each other.

He proposed 5 months after our 6 year anniversary 😊
