I wish you all the luck. I assume you have checked with prison officials as to all rules, including what you can wear, what and who you can bring, how you arrange for license.

This is the first time I've seen prison pop up as a venue on WW. Kita, what happened?

You are marrying a prisoner? I'm not sure what the point of the post is. Is this announcement? Are you looking for words of encouragement? Looking for people in the same position as you?

Is he locked up? If so, what for? Are we talking FTA for traffic tickets or voluntary manslaughter?

I got married in county jail but that's because the civil magistrate was out of the office that week. We didn't find out until after we got there and everyone had already taken off work to be there so we rolled with it. It makes for a hilarious story after the fact.

@Flying I really need to know these answers.

OP I'm being dead serious when I'm asking what kind of charges (s)he's facing (if any). Something like a FTA for unpaid traffic tickets, I'd be highly irritated and H would be in the dog house for a VERY long time, but it's something I could get over. If we're talking something along the lines grand theft, a violent crime, or arson (any felony pretty much), this would be something that would be a deal breaker for me. I'm all for being the 2017 Tammy Wynette but there are some things that I wouldn't be able to support. Has (s)he been down this road before or is this the first time? What will (s)he doe to change their ways? Many states have three strikes/habitual felon laws. Would you be okay if this ended up being your situation?

Seriously sit back and really think about if this MARRIAGE (not the event of the wedding itself) is something you're ready to dedicate yourself to, assuming (s)he is the one locked up.
