Pounding Party! Why didn't I know about this BEFORE the wedding?

Alejandra, on June 17, 2014 at 7:54 PM Posted in Planning 0 14

Doesn't it sound like a great idea? Instead of a traditional shower, at a punding party, guests bring a pound of any "essentials" like flour, sugar, etc. to stockt he pantry. I didn't have a shower bc we were having a destination wedding but would have loved something like this Smiley smile

Lol same here! I had to click on the post to see what it was because all I could think of was either a fight club or an orgy and neither seemed wedding appropriate! Lol!

I love the name. Guess it's just my perverted sense of humor. Great idea for a shower.

I'm going to have a pounding party just to send invites for a pounding party! Then I'm going to pretend to be really shocked when people show up with stuff from adameve.com instead of pantry supplies!

Would this be appropriate as a housewarming party for when we buy our first house? I really want a pounding party!

It sounds fun for a house warming party or a bachelor/bachelorette party Smiley winking
