Post Wedding Honeymoon Recommendations? - We're talking 5+ years later. haha

I’m the type of person that’s GO BIG OR GO HOME! My fiancé & I going to Jamaica to a Sandals resort for our honeymoon. Did some serious shopping around & got a 1 bedroom honeymoon suite villa with a butler for 7 days for $3500 for both of us.

I recommend visiting a low populated area such as Wyoming

I’d decide on the “vibe” of the trip first (beach relaxation, adventurous & outdoorsy, filled with tourist activities, sampling your favorite foods & drinks?), and then research locations that fit that vibe! I also recommend choosing somewhere neither of you have been before - so it’s a new experience for you both!

I think getting away to somewhere in the Caribbean would be fun because it really feels like you’re getting away to a tropical place without too much travel (from the east coast at least!) Here are some other honeymoon suggestions you should check out:

We were married at Sandals South Coast in Jamaica this past October. We stayed a week in a Butler suite and was treated like royalty. I wish we could afford to go every 3 months. The food, the atmosphere, the views, the staff were top notch.
