I sent my invites out a week ago and just got a message from a “friend” of mine. She was asking if she can bring not just one other person (her mother) but if she can bring her best friend too? Please tell me if I’m taking this the wrong way but I’m kind of annoyed that anyone would even ask this...

Your definitely not wrong and I would be honest and let her know she can not and that it’s a wedding not any ordinary party

Yeah, I get it!!! I have same issue. But I would tell your friend that she may invite 1 guest, the other person may not even know you to be all up at your wedding, and therefore decline gracefully. They must be apart if your life, and love you and your fiance to attend your special day, so only people you are close, close with.
