Pictures--night wedding?

We have our venue from 5-10:30. We are planning on getting married Sept 26, but if we postpone until January because of CoVID, we would have to do our pictures at night. FH adamently doesn't want to do a first look, so we are doing our pictures after the ceremony. Has anyone done their pictures at night? Can you guys give me some examples??

A good photographer will easily be able to take night shots, so don't worry. If you are still worried, you can always take some photos before so you can have daylight shots. Think solo photos and photos with your bridesmaids and him with his groomsmen, maybe even each of you with your respective families. It will cut down on the time you need to take pictures during cocktail hour so your bridal party and family can enjoy it.

Can you move the wedding a little earlier in the day? If not, I’m sure the photographer can handle it. You can also do indoor photos! A lot of our best photos were taken indoors.

Hi Kris! Like Jeni said, your photographer should definitely be able to do night shots and have recommendations! I'd also scout out your venue to see if there are any indoor photo spots you like as well to give variety to your pictures!
