One year ago TODAY Levi, my FH, took me to a place in Tennessee called The Blue Hole. It is a series of rivers 3 waterfalls that form one of the prettiest places I've ever been to. We went with a friend of ours and she asked to borrow my nice camera for a few nature shots and I handed it to her.

Levi took my hand, lead me a short ways up the trail, then stopped to sit me on a stump. He said "I figured it would be raining this whole trip. Didn't figure we would have such a nice day and that there wouldn't be a chance to do this. You know the ring is at home but it's just too perfect here not to ask. Will you be my wife?" 😍😍 The whole time our friend is taking pictures of us and does a couple extra cute pictures. Even with the ring back in Michigan, the day was still perfect.

Your ring is beautiful and that's such a sweet story!!
This is my ring! I'm in LOVE with it, I couldn't have picked a more perfect ring myself. We were on vacation at the beach and he had the ring with him the entire time just waiting for the perfect moment.
My Ring
On our last day, we were just sitting in our beach chairs on the sand and said "I know this isn't the flashiest way to do this, but we're also not the flashy type. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me and I can't imagine a life without you by my side. Will you marry me?" and then pulls the ring box out of our beach bag. INSTANT TEARS, I swear I cried for at least two hours. Can't wait to marry my best friend.

My FH proposed on our boat in the middle of the water. I was reeling in a pole & the spoon (thing that you catch fish on) said "will you marry me?"Dating: 9/25/2015 Engaged: 8/04/2018 Married: 09/21/2019 28 Days Until we Say I Do!

Pizza! 🍕 He proposed when we were eating pizza. He just felt this overwhelming urge to ask me with no ring or grand idea, then he wanted a do-over because he felt so unromantic lol. I think it’s sweet he just blurted it out. He took me to a fancy dinner and we got my ring afterwards.

We were hiking at Ricketts Glen State Park with our two french bulldogs last year in September. He mentioned he had a rock in his shoe. We stopped so he could empty his shoe and he got down on knee and asked. The same time he was proposing our one dog started inward sneezing (sirt of sounds like they are dying) and of course I said yes. Then we realized the waterfall ge proposed at was RB Ricketts. Which wasn't planned but neat because our names Ryan and Brandy. I love your story. So sweet. That was great your friend was able to capture that special moment for you guys.

We love walking our paths we made though our property, usually looking for dear tracks and such so it wasn't anything out of the ordinary when he asked if I wanted to go for a walk. Little did I know he had a little something in mind. The logistics are hard to explain without being terribly long lol but essentially he was down on one knee with our sweet puppy when I turned around and he asked me to marry him. All of our pictures were captured on our trail cam 😂❤ I also didn't know but he surprised me with both our family's back at the house when we got back (both our families live an hour away from us so this was so special)

We got engaged November 23, 2018 - I had mentioned to my fiance that I wanted the proposal to be between just the two of us and he honored that wish. He proposed by hanging a Christmas ornament on our tree. I don't even remember what he said or if I actually said yes before I started crying. Almost 12 months out now until the wedding and I can't wait!

We had just finished our black with blue stripe belt test at karate. He hurt his knee and the sensei's wife had my phone to take pictures during the test. While we were talking on the mat afterwards he got down on his knee and I was like oh come on baby let's get your poor little knee home to ice it no need to be dramatic. And put my hands on my hips. And he popped out the ring I had always secretly hoped he'd propose at the dojo but didn't think it would happen since we both early on said we'd never get married again since we were both previously divorced.

He planned a nice surprise date day. The day ended at Minnehaha falls, which I had never been to. It was sorta rainy all day but when we got to the falls the sun came out he found a more private spot near the river when he asked. There was no secret picture taking, but that's okay because I doubt I had a very good reaction look lol. He told me later that he was really nervous because I never actually said "yes" or anything at all! I guess I was speechless which is really weird for me lol!!

We were on a mini vacation with his kids in North Carolina. We were playing on the beach and I thought he had knelt down to take a picture of the kids but there he was on his knee proposing. It was super unexpected and adorable.

My fh proposed after a hike at the Grand Canyon. I was pretty tired so I sat down and he said he was going to look for good photo spots. He found one he liked and told two women his plan and then came and got me. He asked if they wouldn't mind taking photos of us so I had no idea he had already talked to them. It was perfect. We're just under one month left.

I dabble in photography myself, and he and my mom had gone in together to buy me a really nice camera for my birthday that July. Our 6 year anniversary rolls around in December and he begged me to go out and take a few pictures in the park. It's December 13th in Central Illinois and the wind chill was -12°, but he insisted we go get a few so we have them for Christmas.
It was so cold that we were the only people in the park, but we found a spot by the icy pond that someone had hung a Christmas bow on, so it seemed like the perfect spot. We set the camera up on timer, took a couple shots, and then he dropped to one knee.

Disney world engagement:
My FH chose a park that not many people propose in at Disney world and because of that the entire park knew we were getting engaged that night! Word gets around I guess Lol. They were so excited for us and the opportunity to make it magical. He planned with the park (I was shopping, he “had to go to the bathroom”) for us to get engaged during the Hollywood studios pre firework show Disney movie magic. We had gone to a dessert party and they chose us to lead everyone to the veiwing area so we would have a prime location with few people. He watched it before we went and chose the perfect time to propose during my two favorite movie scenes. (Beauty and the beast and Mary poppins) The park went all out for us! They let him have a personal photo pass photographer to capture the dark photos, gave us extra fast passes for our trip and we were given gifts from the cast members themselves. As were were walking out we kept getting congratulations from all the cast memebers who had seen the photos. It was magical.

Everyone's stories are so cute, and your rings are beautiful!!
So, the funny part is, I actually knew he was going to propose the day he did (we'd been talking about it for a while, and I was involved in the process of designing my ring, though we ended up not straying far from hubby's original design). He still managed to surprise me with his proposal, though, lol. We were going to see an opera at the opera house in Dallas with a couple of friends of ours. Hubby suggested we check out the view from upstairs before the opera started, so we climbed up the couple flights of stairs. He had me take a picture of the view (which was construction--I was so confused why he wanted a picture of that so badly). He asked me if I liked the view, and I was like, babe it's construction. So he said, no, this view, and I turned around and he was on his knee. Our friends got great pictures, and I love that fact that he still managed to surprise me.
