...than a drunken bride.

I was watching Grey's Anatomy last night and that's the advice a mother who was dying gave her daughter on what not to do on your wedding day. We're always asking for advice on what to do...but what about stuff we shouldn't do on our wedding day? Give your best what NOT to do advice.

Here's mine. Do NOT freak out over anything that goes wrong. Shrug it off. Because there's no perfect wedding and no matter what goes wrong, you're still gonna be married to the one you love at the end of the day.

Don't forget to take some time just with the person you are getting married to. Enjoy the day and the moments you two will make and share.

Enjoy it all and laugh at the bad if there is any! On my wedding day it rained starting in the morning when we were on our way to the salon. We were getting married outside everyone was freaking out except me lol. I stayed calm and enjoyed my day to the fullest, by the time the ceremony started the rain had stopped and we were able to get married outside! Shout wipes also those were a lifesaver right after ceremony my then husband stepped on the back of my dress with his muddy shoe but the wipes took it right out!

I have no issues with a drunk bride - just not during the ceremony! I plan on staying sober while my parents/boss/etc are still around, then we're getting on our drink on with our friends at the after-party.

My big rule is: don't get in any arguments on that day - either let it go, or let someone else go on the attack for you. I was in a dear friend's wedding years ago where her parents showed up 30 minutes before the ceremony (they were supposed to have arrived for photos/getting ready two hours before). The bride spent most of the time before the ceremony in a screaming match with her mom. I understood why she was so mad, but it cast a pall over the day.

While it's fresh in my memory!

    -Don't lock your knees

-Throw deodorant on before you head down the aisle

-Eat a light breakfast and lunch & snack, I had Bananas, their sugar is easier to convert into energy than other sugars

-Avoid salty food, it makes you bloated

-Remember to breathe! and take a moment or two to your self, I actually had just me and my maids in my moms room while I listened to my Ipod...lol

-Smile! You never know when your photog is taking pictures! I acutally was trying to hold back tears half way down the aisle, so I doubt I'm smiling!

-My photog missed alot of moments to capture because we didn't holr 'pose' lol these were all 'playing around' things, like sneaking kisses from my DH, she finally had to tell me, "TRINIDY! TELL me when you are going to do something like that, and even if you forget to, hold it!"

-Don't drink just because it's your wedding! Don't want to turninto a sloppy bride! I was having such a blast and what not CONT

That I didn't need to drink to cut loose on the floor! (I usually dance a couple of times when sober, then wait till I hada few more..lol)

-Tell your DH that you love him and he looks sooo good! Smiley winking

My biggest thing was not having someone there to take care of the vendors. I had them standing outside my dressing room the entire time I was trying to get ready because they needed stuff. So DON'T forget to ask someone to help you take care of them.

I'll take that advice- I quit wine to slim down for the wedding, and it worked by the way, but now my tolerance is low and after 1 glass, I'm tipsy! I used to have to drink 2 to get woozy.
