Our time is coming quick! My wedding is 10/07/2022 and I feel like all the little details are consuming me. When is your big day? How are you all doing? What final touches are you working on? Use this discussion to vent (if you need to) and connect
Ours is 10/29/22! Last Monday was the 2 month mark, and I feel like the floodgates have opened since then! Nothing too off the wall, but it's definitely been a crazy few weeks. We just mailed our invitations last Friday (trying to at least get them moving through the system before the holiday weekend), and I'm so jazzed that people are finally able to confirm they'll be there! After over 2 and a half years of being engaged, we're FINALLY about to get married!!!
10/30/22 here! Starting to get excited with RSVPs and registry gifts coming through. My bridal shower is in about 2 weeks and that snuck right up on me!! Once that happens I think it will really sink in how soon the wedding is. There isn't a whole lot left for us to do besides check in with our vendors for now. It feels like hurry up and wait!
10/9/22 bride here!! I’m SO stressed. I’m trying to do last minute things I put off 😅 I was so good at the beginning and fell off and now I realized I didn’t have some things together. We just did our 30 days walk through today!

Omg that’s so exciting especially after being engaged for 2.5 years. I will say seeing the RSVPS come back is very exciting. Are you doing online RSVPS or mail?

Yes! We booked our venue September last year and by the end of October I had all of our vendors booked except one. I got my dress in January. I was so on top of it and then a few weeks ago and I was realizing I hadn’t ordered my flowers ( I got this huge custom bouquet off Etsy) or my bolero jacket or our stuff for centerpieces and it became crunch time😅 my fiancé doesn’t have shoes yet. We just did our 30 day walk through today and went and got our marriage certificate! That was the step that made this all feel so insanely real
LOL! same here! We got engaged last July and from August- January we booked everything. I was so on top of it then we backed off and started to just enjoy engagement the time really flew by! Of that's so neat, Etsy is awesome. My mother and I made my bouquet using lings moment florals. OMG you just reminded me that I need to apply for our marriage license ASAP
I think the feeling of just wanting to get it over with is all the stress and anxiety around the day. I'm sure the day will come and you will have a wonderful time! Just enjoy it and soak it all in. Take a few days leading up to the wedding to just destress and relax
OMG Oct 29 2022 here and I feel like my home is just pumpkins and crafts right now. I am getting together with the bridal party tomorrow to stage things and do some DIYing. And I have purchased so many frames at this point... a sign for here, a sign for there... it's annoying. Luckily I am pretty good on publisher so I have been creating templates for everything and just need final info so I can print it all out. I have my second fitting this weekend. We need to get his suit altered. Every week that slips by, I'm like OMG it's getting closer! I feel your pain because it is my own!
10/8/22 here! I'm kind of freaking out at this point lol. Our bachelor/bachelorette parties are this weekend, his is all weekend and mine is Saturday, so I plan on using my weekend home alone to work on stuff. I've got a lot of DIY decor and sign stuff to get working on. We just confirmed our guest list and sent the final number to our caterer, so we can start on our seating chart. There's so many little things left to do that I'm worried I'm going to forget something.
After picking up my fiancé's suit and having him decide it fit fine (when I wasn't 100% sure) we got it home and he tried it on again and the jacket is definitely too small. We bought it, so now with a month left we're ordering a larger size. They don't have 1 size up available, so 2 sizes up is what we're getting whether it's what he needs or not. I'm just thankful that the shop is willing to reorder it for us!
Woohoo we get married October 26, 2022! The only thing really stressing me out are the flowers because I'm DIY them. I have all kinds of flowers all over our apartment and haven't started on anything yet lol. I need to make my bouquet, bridesmaids bouquet, table center pieces, and an arch floral piece. I'm not too stressed, but very excited. I'm sure I'll feel the stress the day before as we are setting everything up (I know I'll forget something and it will consume me lol).
Omg! I’m 11 days away and I’m freaking out! All the little things are starting to pile up! I’m just doing my best to stay positive not get overwhelmed and seee everything through! Managing this rehearsal dinner has been a lot and I just started realizing I need to pack a just in case bag! Lord take the wheel! Thankfully all the major things are out the way!!
