Our time is coming quick! My wedding is 10/07/2022 and I feel like all the little details are consuming me. When is your big day? How are you all doing? What final touches are you working on? Use this discussion to vent (if you need to) and connect

10/9/22 bride as well AND we have the same name! 😂 most of my stress is from the tiny little things left to do ( name tags, seating chart, welcome bags etc. ) You got this girl! Congratulations!

I’m Oct 13th 2022 and I feel like I’ve been adding things to my list to do! I have to make menus, finish floor plan, place cards. And at the last minute find an officiant! I feel like a chicken with my head off lol!

October 29 - and we're doing pretty good. We have decided to approaching the day as time well spent with friends and family. We are having a Halloween themed wedding and asking guests to come in costume. Everything, in truth, is already done and paid for so now it's just waiting to spend the day with those we love the most. I'm certain something will not go as planned, but most plans gone wrong tend to be the best moments anyway. Good luck ladies - please don't stress too much - not everything is perfect - but it is the perfect day to begin your new life.

10.01! It is so awesome to be able to read your comments and be reassured these feelings and anxiety I am experiencing are completely normal! Thank you for sharing Smiley diamond Smiley ring ! I am most curious on how everything is going to come together, nothing like decorating a space without seeing beforehand! And can we talk about the amount of money spent for flowers you won't see until the final day , lol! The kicker is we decided to build a house too, lol! Now time for the wine, best of wishes to you all XOXO Smiley heart

OK, I'm going to vent a bit if thats ok. Our wedding is October 7th. I have been planning this whole thing by myself. Don't get me wrong, my soon to be hubby is helping with what he can and has imput but most of everything is me. So I hired a Day of Coordinator. She met with me and has filled in a couple of things that I missed and I'm on the right track.
With all that stress and nerves with how close it is to being here I was really counting on my MOH and bridesmaids to maybe plan a shower or a Bachelorette party or something to spend some much needed relaxing time and really soak in everything and celebrate this life changing event. Unfortunately I was just informed last week that I'm not getting either. No one planned on or even thought to have one for me.
I feel shameful for being so selfish because I understand others got things in there life going on besides me. But anytime I asked any of them to be there for certain things no one could make it. For example, tomorrow is my final fitting for my dress. I added sleeves and changed things and it's like a whole new dress and I'm going by myself. My love offered to go with me but he can't because he's not supposed to see it. I just feel so lonely throughout this whole process and just reading all of everyone's post made me sad. I just wish the people in my life would reciprocate or at least put in half the effort that I would and do give them when they need. I know it's just a stupid party but it just would be nice to be thought of by the ones that say they care about me. I am so happy for all of you ladies and I hope I didn't bring any of you down during all this. I am really thankful for you all allowing me to vent my feelings and listening to me.

10/16/22 over here - we just passed the 1-month mark! We've got most everything set, it's now just down to the little details - centerpieces, getting decor made, writing our vows, trying to book restaurants for rehearsal dinner/family outings. We're stressing about the final payments we still need to pay, but we can do it! We are constantly reminding ourselves that it's our day and we don't need to cater to tradition/family pressure.

October 22, 2022 here! All we have left are small final touches, getting my rings soldered together, purchasing groceries for our menu (doing our own food), getting party favors, flower girl dresses, and making payments to our photographer. Only a month left and I can feel the chaos coming in the next couple weeks.

10/29 and i still hate the bridesmaid pyjamas i bought but i can't think of anything better 🙃 wishing i had figured out i could have ordered table numbers, welcome sign, designed what the seating chart was going on, and bought a guest book months ago... praying the etsy gods are on my side!

everyone has you so focused on the big details that suddenly all the little tiny detail stuff just sneaks up on you! we have all our RSVP's in though which is a relief and the seating chart figured out besides some minor shuffling here and there. small miracles!

I feel this. i'm planning mine all alone from across the country, all my family and bridesmaids are back east and fiancé is too busy to help me much. all my dress shopping and fittings have been all by myself, and i had to prompt my MOH to throw me a bachelorette (and even then my fiancé's sister had to help her plan it, otherwise i would have had to plan my own..) i didn't get a bridal shower either because of the distance :'( so i feel you about 'missing out' on a lot of big stuff. your MOH should have read up on responsibilities and reached out to YOU to ask what she could do for you, not the other way around! you're not selfish, you were neglected! im sorry you feel so lonely Smiley sad
