So I've never EVER dyed my hair a light color. My natural hair color is mousy brown. If I dye my hair, it's always to a really dark brown. But lately, I've been considering dying my hair blonde. What do you ladies think? I've been messing with a thing online to see what it would look like Pic 1:...

Pic 1: When I dye my hair dark brown

Pic 2: Comp version of me with blonde hair

Pic 3: My natural hair color

I sent a picture to DH and he said "Yes!" "Double Yes!" "Triple Yes!" ... all in 3 separate texts messages.

Last time I chopped my hair and went back to my normal hair color (b/c DH said Yes to that as well) I got home and he told me he hated it...when I asked him what he hated...he said everything. I cried for 3 hours after that.

I know it's just hair...but hair has always been my thing I have a hard time changing...I love it long and I love it dark...but lately, for some reason...I've been wanting a change.

What do you ladies think??

Following this process. You WILL achieve the color you're ultimately looking for sooner than 4 visits BUT likely you will damage your hair quite a lot.

One last thing, I think blonde could look great on you, but I'd recommend keeping some low-lights in your hair and NOT going solid blonde. You don't want your eye brows to be noticeably darker than your hair, and aside from that, low-lights help making the "growing out/roots showing" process less drastic.

If you would like to hear anymore of my personal experiences feel free to message me! I totally get the whole hair being important deal!

Yeah always best to start with highlights....my natural color is brown and when I wanted to go gold blonde I started off with highlights and then loved it so much that I dyed my hair that entire color....usually during the summer I'm a honey blonde like in my picture (not that way right now though)

You are way too damn cute either way!! Go a caramel color with highlights and lowlights. No matter what you will be beautiful.
