NWR- How late is too late to mail Christmas cards?

Mrs. Jayjohn, on December 9, 2010 at 3:31 PM Posted in Planning 0 16

I've decided that I want to mail out Christmas cards (I'm a procrastinator, what can I say) but I'm worried that I won't be able to get them in the mail until the 13th, is that too late?

Not too late at all. Also even later than that is fine, even if I get a card after Christmas I still put it with all my others and smile because someone thought about me!

We always end up getting Christmas cards even after christmas. So I would say you are good if you get them in the mail before Christmas

I think any day up to the week of Christmas is fine! And if you really procrastinate...send a new year's card. Smiley smile

Many cards have messaging that includes "Happy New Year", so I would think anytime up until New Years Day would be fine. I'm mailing them out tomorrow! (I hope! Need to pull away from the computer and start addressing cards......)

Sometimes, I have ended up mailing cards just a couple days before Christmas! What can you do, when college finals continue up until the 22nd? (My old college actually *does* that).
