Non sappy father-daughter dance song

I’m having a very difficulty time finding a song for my father daughter dance. My dad and I are close, but not in a mooshy way at all. We are more of the type that likes to drink beer together. He is very shy and its going to be difficult for him to be in front of people. Does anyone have any suggestions for a rock or alternative song?

    I like the 311 version of love song but may be too sappy. We have chosen Just the way you are by Billy Joel for our father daughter dance

    My father and I both love the Foo Fighters so we are choosing Times Like These but the acoustic version. My Hero was an also option.

    I'm kinda in the same boat here! I'm wondering if this would be something you can ask your dad for input on? Like ask him what song reminds him of you and your relationship?
