Need honest opinions

I think you look beautiful! What really matters, though, is how you feel in it. Do you feel like a bride? Is that what you envision for your walk down the aisle?

I think that dress is gorgeous and the veil is seriously stunning. The dress looks flattering and classy. That said, it's your day, so I agree with PP that you should feel beautiful in it.

I love the style, but I don’t think the seam at the waist is hitting you on the right spot. If it were at your natural waist it might be a smidge more flattering?


Veil is stunning. I think you should go shopping again if you can so you LOVE your dress without question.

Dress teeter is normal. I had it and exchanged for another dress and don't regret it. I love my new dress more. Your dress is lovely but maybe see if you can exchange and look at more dresses?

It's a beautiful dress! Have you tried some belts with it? I'm short waisted too, and that dress would hit me exactly the same as you. A belt would accent your waist and make it flow, instead of the waistline catching the eye, so to speak. I wore a belt, and that made all the difference.

Maybe, that is what is throwing you off about it? I honestly, loved my dress, no regrets whatsoever.
If this dress doesn't give you that bridal feeling, perhaps they will let you exchange it , for one that will. The most important thing, is how you feel, and if your vision of "you " is complete.
I had doubts on my fingertip veil, changed it to a Cathedral length veil and all was right with the world.
Trust your gut, sometimes our doubts are there for a reason, sometimes they are just nerves. You may feel better, just trying on a few more dresses, to see if it's the actual dress, or your nerves have you feeling unsure.

I agree with a lot of the above suggestions. Try a belt, and even try on some other dresses...just to be sure!!!

I think you look great, and that veil does add a great finishing touch. Do you feel like something is missing? Or is it something else that is bothering you? Maybe figuring out accessories like necklace, earrings, bracelet, or a belt like pp said earlier could be that little touch you might be thinking you need? Sometimes it is just a matter of putting the whole package together to look it’s best than analyzing the individual pieces.

I did the same thing with my dress- we all second guess our choice because there’s so many good dress choices out there! The dress you have is beautiful and I love the veil- it’s such a statement!! You are the focus, and if you feel beautiful and you are in your budget already, keep the dress!
Add a belt, get it altered or get sparkly shoes. You bought it for a reason.

I think your dress and veil are very pretty. What are you concerned about exactly? I think maybe seeing the full look will help. Have you picked out shoes and accessories yet? Since your dress doesn’t have any beading or lace you can really make it pop with some bling accessories if that’s your style. You could also get one of those bling sashes to add around the waist for more of a pop. You have so many options with this type of dress.
