Need Help, need to honor my aunt and & uncle

Will be Mrs B, on July 29, 2011 at 6:16 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

I'm very close to my Aunt & Uncle, I can consider them my second set of parents, and they consider me their daughter. They are being very generous and giving us $1200 towards our wedding. I need to find a way to honor them. I don't want to put anything on the programs, because, yes their gift is very generous but in the grand scheme of things, it is small compared to what my parents are giving. So I just do not want take anything away from parents. I was thinking about buying them a special gift as a thank you. Thoughts on any special gifts?

A night out with a gift card to a resturant they love and then a night in at a nice hotel?

Maybe you can put together a small photo album with pictures of you and your aunt and uncle thru out the years. Start from when you were a baby, growing up, important milestones (hs or college graduation) and finish it off with a picture of them and you and your hubby at the end. Write (or print with nice font) a heartfelt thank you for their love and support your whole life and for making your wedding extra special.

Here is a really nice one.

And you can add something like this to your note:

I would like to thank you

from the bottom of my heart,

but for you, my heart has no bottom.

    Thank you for all

    your love and support.

    Thank you for always

    making every moment count.

    Thank you

    for the memories.

    Thanks for putting

    up with me.

and you prove that all the tim

Instead of just a photo album what about a 8x10 pic of the both of you on your wedding day in a very nice frame. That they can see often. Best wishes to you !
