Necessary or Not: Videography?

I don't think I'd like watching myself on video. Picutres are enough for me.

I can't decide, it is driving me crazy. I did book a good photographer and will have a 2nd photographer as well. If money wasn't an issue, I would definitely love to have a video of our day. For now, it is on the back burner...

Not necessary. I don't care too much to have any videos of myself taken and my FH agrees with me. A photographer is more than sufficient for us.

In the beginning of planning didnt see need for a videographer...however being blessed to have a year to preplan and execute our 1st main celebration which was our pre-wedding and ither weddi g tasks leading up to our BIG DAY I hapoy to say I do need a videographer...Since our wedding will be a destination wedding unfortunately both my parents are deceased but theres 2 family who are living but unable to make. It to the wedding even if it was in our home state because of old age & everything that came with it..So being an individual who appreciates every little loving gesture you do for me...To show ultimate appreciation for those gestures thru much research & one on one photographer interviews gain knowledge of videographers, so deciding to hire one...Main achievement for family to bring the "I do's" to them...I feel happy I changed my mind...Stay tunes to give the outcome..While. Here any helpful paths leading to videographers phoenix area maybe even las vegas area its 2.5 hours away

I am a wedding videographer myself, so I am biased but I truly believe that videography is just as important as photography. It actually makes me sad that it isn't considered this way to everyone just yet but we will get there. These are the only two things that you have to remember the wedding, as well as the people that are there. Videography captures the movement and all of the moments of the day that you WILL miss during the day. This is your wedding day.. and while photography is amazing, why wouldn't you want more ways to remember your day than just photography?

I would say some kind of wedding video is necessary, but not a super fancy videographer.

I think this is worth having only because you can have the good mentors and the best man and maid of honor speeches !! and the moments where you got dressed ! and everything goes by so quickly
