Name cards for your guest, where did you buy them?

Every event is different and some samples I have seen have the guest name, table name, and food selection. You might want to look at your wedding invitation for direction and pull some type of art or graphics from the invitation and do a google search.

I also own a full service design and coordination company that tries to point brides in the right direction. You might even want to use a simple word template but change the paper to linen or color which adds color and texture.

Escort cards - I know many on here have used visaprint (see their folding business cards). I have also seen them at craft stores like Michaels and AC Moore

I just bought some plain white ones over the weekend from Michaels. It cost $4.99 for a pack of 48, but Michaels has a 50% off coupon on its website right now. While I'm using plain white cards, I'm going to accessorize them with adhesive rhinestones and some pale yellow bumble bees to give them some flair.

If you really want to do them yourself and save a little money by doing your own design, you can do a mail merge with Avery Small Tent Cards #5302. You can pick a box 0f 160 at any Staples store I think even Walmart has them. If you have a color printer, you can really do a nice job with these.

They are called place cards. I got some at michaels (also check hobby lobby or jo anns), they were sheets of paper that I could feed through my printer-and had a matching avery # so I could use microsoft word with them. Once I printed them, they had perforated edges, so I pulled them apart and folded the middle.

I used Gartner Studios placecards kit- you can buy at almost any craft store in the wedding section. $5 for 50 placecards, print 'em on your home comp for free.

Thansk for asking this question Lacey, I too was wondering where I'd get the place cards.

I was dead set on doing a seating chart, I already got the template from Hayley, cross this thing off my list of to dos, but FH think the seating chart will be two crowded so he wants to go ahead and pay for place cards instead. So now I'm back on looking...(could strangle him for that, lol)

I used a seller on etsy that sent me a PDF editable file! It was 5 bucks and you can print as many as you need.

Going to Michaels tonight (last day for the 50% off coupon!!!) and getting some tonight!

I made mine...card stock, elmer's glue stick, printer. =)
