She's clearly just not a very good seamstress because she's blaming your body for her inability to make the dress look good. You look awesome, find a new alterations lady!! *hugs*
One: Don't appreciate the people saying YOU'RE NOT FAT! YOUR'RE GORGEOUS therefore saying bigger women can't be pretty
But more on to two: You don't look fat, at all. I think the dress needs to be altered to give you a shape because all I see is one line down and doesn't define your natural curves much. Whether it's a belt/sash/proper stitching, that's all it needs.
There was a bridal salon on Yelp in my area that had 4 or 5 reviews talking about how the owner told them they were too fat for her dresses. IDK how that bitch is still in business but I sure as hell didn't set foot in there.
And you weren't told you looked fat before you bought it because you don't. Don't let one fuckstick ruin your wedding dress. All I meant by my comment was that most women have their dress tailored to fit their specific body (as in, most dresses aren't the perfect fit for every woman who buys it, as most clothes) and that I felt the dress should be tailored to give you that more perfect shape. Not that you look fat and it needs to be fixed.
