less than a week... still don't know first dance song!

We had a REALLY hard time finding one too that we both liked. Another bride had this song as hers on here, and when I showed FH, he loved it, so this is it!

And it's their 'wedding version', so it's shorter. I like that, because I don't like when people have super long first dance songs. People get bored, as awful as that sounds!

MissB, I disagree. For us, there wasn't a song that popped into our heads. And any that did for me were country, which FH doesn't like. So it can be harder for some people than others.

ZoeAnn, the guests getting bored was to that song.... sadly. Our good friends got married last May, and about halfway through the song, people started talking and totally ignoring them. I paid attention the whole way through, because I felt bad, but it is a REALLY long song. You don't really realize how long a song is until you have to sit and watch two people dance slowly to it. I love that song too, so I am definitely not dissing on it at all, I just want you to be aware of what guests may do. But hell, you may not even care, because your eyes will be on FH the entire time

No not everyone does but sometimes when I am in panic mode I need someone to tell me to stop and think with my heart for a second. Sometimes people throwing out tons of suggestions make it worse. Just trying to help in my own way.

Mine was easy to find because I loved it before he proposed. I told him its our song and when we went to pick he reminded me to just pick out song. It is Jason Mrazy "Lucky". But if you are having trouble I highly suggest using Wedding wire song lists they helped me a lot.

Yall dont have a song? not many people do these days, but we have one and its very uncommon but it describes us very well and i doubt anyone has used it as theirs (I Love You-Climax Blues Band) but if you have a song as a couple that should be it!

FH actually picked our song! I told him I wanted something that is something everyone would know, and he wanted something up-tempo (which coincidentally I think means people will be less bored?) SOOO, we are dancing to Love was made for me and you by Nat King Cole

It took us forever.. like 2.5 hours listening to options.. to pick one! We danced to "Marry Me" by Train.

You don't have to dance to a "slow song" You just have to pick a song you can dance to together. For our last dance we are using For once in my life Michael Buble version. It could have been our first dance. It's not really a slow song.
