I love children. I ADORE CHILDREN.

But if you have children that you do not discipline, DON'T BRING THEM AROUND ME!!

FH and I are having a relatively child free wedding (no children outside of the wedding party)

Its a night wedding. Its formal. Find a babysitter. Have a drink. Get a hotel room and practice making the next baby!!

Our wedding is not YOUR family reunion. Nor should I be responsible for stopping your child from knocking over the cake.

I went to a wedding and saw a child lift up the brides dress and try to play hide and seek under it during the first dance!!

BTW this is not directed toward WW Brides who have children. I'm sure your babies are well behaved. FH has a cousin who does not discipline her children and even if it is clear they are not invited, would show up and throw them on the mercy of other people while she gets drunk.

I volunteer at a thrift shop and someone donated it yesterday. At the end of my shift, it was still there.

We've been together 9mo, and I've known him for 1yr. Before he lost his job in April, we had a timeline of this year. Now it's the end of next year. Friends keep butting in, making comments like "He needs to man up, blah blah blah". or "He needs to get you your own place together" never considering the fact that our jobs are 75 minutes apart and we each like living 15mins from our jobs (if my bus runs on time, that is), or "Does he not care about having kids?" Like I'm 52, not 32. I'd like to have my own place first, and not rent a room in a house with two roommates who think I'm a megabeeech when it's just I can't breathe around them due to their odors.

Part of why my finances are screwed up is because I've been financially responsible for my mom & brothers since I was 18 - go go gadget deadbeat dad.

I can properly respond to the last 10 pages of comments. From what I see some people definitely posted responses without reading what the damn post is about!

@MissB are we talking a savory ham or brown sugar glazed ham?

FMIL has been a major headache in our relationship over the years. She's one of those people who will smile at you while insulting you.

@DLovesD found out that my drinking buddy/bridesmaid is 2 1/2 months. She will be 5 months at the wedding. She's gonna be miserable sitting at an open bar drinking seltzer water lol

@MOHQueen tell anyone who tries to make you feel bad about your bf not proposing yet to go to hell. FH and I were together for 4 1/2 years before he proposed. It had nothing to do with him not wanting to marry me. It had everything to do with him wanting to make sure that he had a stable future in which he could provide for me and any children that we may have. When he proposed he had been acting so strange for months that I thought we were gonna break up LOL

@DLovesD I found a mobile masseuse that I plan on hiring to come and give mani/pedi/massages to me and my girls the morning of the wedding. Maybe you can find an inexpensive one that can take care of your friend who will have the 6 week old?

@lady OOH GURL SOME COUNTRY HAM AND SOME GREENS, MAC AND CHEESE

ahem...sorry. *wipes drool from face* lost my grown-up mind in a state of childhood euphoria for a minute there LOL

& re: your parental nonsense - it really is a shame that things have to be that way, when they don't *have* to be that way, you know? just keep your positivity about you and stay as calm as possible -- others will appreciate it more than you will ever know. plus, if they know the situation already, they already know who the emotionally draining one is.

I've been babysitting since I was 11, and have been working at daycares all through college. It's a day wedding, and there are going to be tons of kids.

Which is also why I'm planning on hiring 2 babysitters for the night and having a separate area with video games, games, and non-messy arts/crafts stuff. It'll give the parents a few hours to themselves while the kids can have their own fun.

@Angie Did you just say greens mac n cheese?!?!?! Giiiiirl you are talking DIRTY!!! lol & I'm trying. It was just really upsetting to see that she is actually ignoring me on purpose. According to facebook and mobile twitter, she had posted every single day.

@Kelly I've babysat since childhood, worked with special needs children as a T.A. and have tutored for a long time but this is about people who take advantage of you. Not just parents who want to have a few hours to themselves. I will not provide childcare for parents who do not take proper care of their children
