It's our final tradition! How do you feel about the cake smash? Is it a cute and fun memorable wedding moment? Or would you be super pissed if your new spouse smashed cake in your face? 🍰 What's your vote on the cake smash? Keep or cancel? Photo by Naomi Wong Photography in Kapaa, HI Thanks for...

Cancel, as others have said it’s tacky and disrespectful but even more than that it’s just like why? It’s really not cute at all.

Cancel. What’s the point really? Get your newly minted spouse all messy? No, just no.

    CANCEL.
I need every morsel in my mouth to enjoy. Not on our face, gown/tux, the floor, nope.

How did this “tradition” even start? Maybe the couple was drunk and their aim was off🤷🏾‍♀️.

Cancel without hesitation. I think it's so disrespectful to smash food in each others faces and I do not want my expensive makeup being ruined. I've also never been to a wedding where they did the cake smash, so it would be very out of the norm for me to witness.

Cancel! I find it rude, disrespectful and not funny at all.

However, with that being said, in my first marriage to my late husband. We did not do it but we keep the top tier of cake in the freezer like many people do. I remember on our one year anniversary after the cake had defrosted he chased me down the hall with it and gave me a good smash in the face. It was perfect because we were in the privacy of our own home and I was able to take a shower lol.

CANCEL. I hate that! I'm grateful my fiancee hates it too. You spend all that money on the dress and renting a tux and you want to mess them up with cake and frosting? no thank you.

With me paying for my makeup to be done and dress is expensive etc i will be mad if he does plus i cant to him bc his suit cant smash it bc if he gets stain then he loses his tux deposit fee in case of stains etc and they can charge.extra to have it cleaned ...so im opting to do nice cake feeding to each other vs smash !

Cancel, only because I am such a klutz and I know I will get it over everything. I find it cute as long as it's done tastefully. (No pun intended, LOL)

Cancel.. not even sure who thought that would be a good idea in the first place. If I get cake on my face, somebody will be getting a slap on their face!! But we both agree this tradition is stupid and disrespectful.
