I figured masks and 6 feet less at tables etc. but now they’re saying cocktail hour has to be seated.... We’re going to be outside in a tent. No passed hors d'oeuvres. Everyone has to remain seated the whole time unless bathroom. No dancing. I was aware of the no dancing restrictions in other states but didn’t realize my state is included in that. I’m unsure what to even do at this point. No cake cutting. No lawn games. I feel like I’m better off just getting eloped.

I’ve been with my FH for over 6 years so I understand not wanting to put it off. I’m getting married no matter what in June, I just really hope it’s with all my friends and family 😕

My future hubby and I feel the same. We think after the election things will probably/hopefully change but who knows if it will change for the worse. I’m hoping that’s not the case.

I know. Especially when I see people gathered in large crowds destroying property daily without consequences. I’m all for people protesting. I wouldn’t be an American if I were against it, but it is kind of a slap in the face when I see people not following guidelines that I have to follow.

Another thing that pissed me off royally was that people in NYC are told no dancing, yet when we saw the VMAs, all of these celebs get to have their entire dance cruise with them dancing inside of a New York City venue. Having 20 people in your dance crew a piece. How is that any different from people dancing at a wedding? Is coronavirus not dangerous towards rich celebrities and their dance crews...Which keep in mind, their dance crews probably live in different parts all over the country and probably had to take planes and fly in. Just another reason why I think certain restrictions are a bunch of BS

I live in PA but getting married in FL 6/13/2021, that's what I always wanted so that was always the plan. I know things are subject to change, but right now our venues only restrictions are masks in the main lobby of the hotel and guests aren't allowed to serve their own food, must be done by banquet staff. To me these are very minimal and I'm hopeful it won't tighten back up by then. I know the biggest item is that we just may have fewer people coming bc of covid, and that is understandable, I'm ok with a smaller amount of guests being my biggest issue. Personally for those of you trying to plan in states that are super strict, if you aren't ok with currently planning a micro wedding or a wedding without dancing i would either postpone or look at other options. Hopefully things will be looking upwards by then, but I'd hate to be in a situation where I'd have to make a last minute change and cut my guest list in half or make everyone sit around.

I am getting married June 17, 2021. I have been nervous about my wedding since June of this year. I reached out to the venue and he told me not to worry everything is going to be fine for next year. He said if there are any restrictions or we have to limit the number of guests he will let us know in advance. I think he just said that to keep me calm but I recently sent out my Save the date especially since we have a lot of people traveling. I am hoping everything works out and we don’t have to make any major adjustments. At this point I am just going to have Faith. I am also looking for a back up makeup artist. My original makeup artist is traveling from London so I’m afraid that she won’t be able to make it if we are still in a pandemic

I know. We ordered personalized stemless wine glasses with the date on them as favors. Future hubby says if we have to push out the date, they’re still getting those same glasses with our original data, lol. He doesn’t care I’m right on board with that too. 😂

Any Destination June 2021 brides? We had no idea when we booked this past May that Covid would still be a concern.
Im on the fence about what we should do. I definitely want to wait at least until the end of winter to officially make a decision because a lot can change by then (hopefully for the better). Ours is in the Dominican Republic and we have about an 80 headcount. All our events would be outdoors on the beach so I’m thinking we would be ok I’m just nervous people will be nervous/uncomfortable which is totally understandable. Ugh if we could just see the future to all be less stressed!

I am praying that by the time next June comes Covid will be gone. We are in GA and our wedding is on 6/27/2021. We have everything booked including our Venue and they are catering our food. Our wedding is going to be outside of the Venue and the reception is going to be inside. So far we don't have any restrictions for our wedding. So for us it is full speed ahead.

I’m from MD too! I’m in Montgomery County though so it’s not looking like we are going to get out of this anytime soon, but luckily my venue allows dancing!

I'm in Washington State with a June 26, 2021 date! We're definitely looking into rescheduling because we're in Phase 2 right now, and even if we're in Phase 3 by the time June hits, our facility may not be open and the strict restrictions might not make it worth it. We're thinking about a courthouse wedding in 2021 and then the real thing in 2022. Has anyone else considered this? I don't want to make the "big" day less special.

Unfortunately, I emailed our venue a week ago to ask if we'd have the option to reschedule a year out if the facility is still closed and I haven't received a response. I'm going to start talking to my vendors about this soon.

I am getting married June 26th 2021 the venue is mostly spacious the reception hall is huge but the owner said we would place some tables outside where the cocktail hour will be it’s covered but we leave in Texas so it will be very hot. He said not to worry but the chapel on the venue is very small so social distancing isn’t really a option but oh man now I’m nervous!!!

I’m June 19th, 2021 in MA and I’m leaning more toward rescheduling to June 2022. For us there’s no point in having a wedding if there’s no dance floor. We want it to be a huge party, not a seated dinner.
People are telling me to just push it a few months later to September 2021, but TBH I really don’t think much is going to change with Corona in a few months time. Restrictions will still be tight.

At this time we are continuing with the wedding. We have reduced the guest list to 90 guest. There will be two sets of invitations sent. Invitation one will have an invite to the ceremony and reception. Invitation two will only have an invite to the reception. The maximum at a table will be five with hand sanitizer. All guests will be provided a face mask that matches the wedding colors.

All of the vendors have been booked. Heck, I was having a hard time finding certain vendors because they were already booked for June 2021.
I'm sure the restrictions will lighten up once the cold and flu season ends. I am trying my best not to worry myself crazy about this Pandemic. I want to enjoy this moment the ups and downs that may or may not happen.
This is our day/moment. Try not to worry.
