Anyone nervous about restrictions still being in place? I talked to my event planner last week and I guess I wasn’t as aware of ALL of the restrictions that are being placed on weddings in my state. I figured masks and 6 feet less at tables etc. but now they’re saying cocktail hour has to be seated.... We’re going to be outside in a tent. No passed hors d'oeuvres. Everyone has to remain seated the whole time unless bathroom. No dancing. I was aware of the no dancing restrictions in other states but didn’t realize my state is included in that. I’m unsure what to even do at this point. No cake cutting. No lawn games. I feel like I’m better off just getting eloped.

June 2021 wedding here. I'm in Virginia and the Governor's order is that events may not have over 250 people. So *right now* we are okay. I have not been stressing about it until recently with COVID cases starting to be on the rise again. I heard it's supposed to get worse in the wintertime. Wear your masks and bathe in sanitizer-- I need to have my June wedding!

I think June is far off but I am nervous...from articles I have seen June will be the month things start to become normal if we have a vaccine by March.

I'm thinking of rescheduling to the fall of 2021. We currently can do 100 inside and 150 outside but I'm scared that will change shortly with the numbers rising.

Since January of this year we set our date to June 2021. We decided on the 13th vs 12th to save cost and it's a day before my fiancé's birthday. We are getting very nervous. We thought at the beginning of the year, we were being super productive by reserving our venue, DJ, wedding coordinator, ceremony, and now I regret it. We will probably still elope in 2021, but then move our party/reception to 2022. I just can't imagine our wedding with all our family and friends and not being able to dance or restricted to one table. Unfortunately our venue is indoors and we're located in Los Angeles. One of the stricter areas of the country.

I’m in Michigan.. our governor is pretty strict, and I respect her for it. I’ve been keeping a good thoughts in my head lol. I keep telling myself to wait to see what happens after the election (you never know.. I’m not a republican but you literally never know), and if I can’t have my big celebration thag day, we are getting married anyways and going to my uncles house with close family that is on a big piece of land and doing the best we can do! And putting off the big celebration.

I am getting married in goshen Kentucky and I am nervous about what might happen between now and June 19th. The governor here doesn’t want anyone trick or treating this weekend which makes me sad and COVID cases in kentucky have gone so I’m nervous that the rules will change again. Right now they are allowing 200 people at my wedding but it could change. I pray it does not because that will stress me out. Planning a wedding is stressful and even more stressful because I’m also in nursing school. Prayers would be appreciated!

I am also in Ohio and we are moving forward with everything. I hope things get better but we just decided we can't go back and we will adjust if we have to. Hope all goes well with your planning!

My fiancé and I have no plans on rescheduling because we are so ready to get married so we chose the first available date after I graduate with my Bachelors! Luckily where we are getting married is private so we are just telling guests that it’s up to them if they want to come given whatever the circumstances may be by next June (which I’m hoping it will be handled by then). My fiancé and I aren’t going to make our guests miserable with no dancing or mingling so I’m just leaving it up to them to decide if they want to be around people or not. I will say that most of my guests are already over this whole thing so I doubt it will be a big issue for us.

June 27 wedding in Chicago... it's outdoors, and I would say after our new restrictions this week, I'm very nervous. It's one thing to have to cut down to 50 people, but 25? My fiancé and I have been together for nearly four years, and just want to get this thing done. Sigh, I guess none of us have a crystal ball, but I guess we just have to take it day by day. I will say all of our vendors have said they will be very flexible. Our caterer luckily doesn't have a minimum, which is super nice to know that we can accommodate the wedding no matter what size it will be. Solidarity, gals!!

I’m in Oklahoma and getting married June 2021. We’ve had our date since March, hoping we’d be able to go into this confidently. Sadly, it’s looking more and more unsure. Even if Oklahoma doesn’t have super strict rules, I want to do what’s best for everyone. I want it to be fun, and I don’t want everyone to be on edge... right now, we’re carrying on as normal bc it’s still 8 months away, but I’m unsure like you all!

I’m living in Ohio but from Long Island NY and getting married there. We pushed out the 6/7/20 date to 6/6/21. NY is a hot mess and I haven’t contacted anyone since I rescheduled. After this election we will re-evaluate what to do. I will NOT be doing anything with restrictions or masks. I’ll wait another year if I have to.

Yes, I'm concerned. They're estimating that a vaccine will not be available until late April and certainly, by June, I doubt restrictions will have eased. I'm at the point where I say we elope and then have an epic celebration once restrictions are lifted. BUT, I will wait and see what happens.

June 2021 in NJ and I totally understand your concerns! We got engaged New Year’s Eve and have done literally nothing until now as far as planning because of covid but we can’t put it off any longer now. We have no idea what to do either and are so scared to book anything right now. Postponing is not an option (together 7 years already, trying to get this show on the road!) The no dancing thing is absurd!
