Is your dad walking you down the aisle? What is he wearing or what did he wear??

My daddy is walking me down the aisle. He is wearing a tan colored suit with a white vest and tie.

Yes he is! He wore this, a tan suit and tie to match the GMs.

My dad wore a black tux that matched the groomsmen, but had a silver vest instead of black. DH's dad wore the same.

Probably a tux that's slightly different from the groomsmen's. I think it might look awkward if he was in a suit and they were all in tuxes.

Our GMs are wearing gray tuxes and the dads will wear black tuxes with gray vest and tie.

Oh @Abby, I like the idea of him wearing a different color tux! @Eleanor...I think you're right. It may look slightly off if he's in a suit and eveyone else is in a tux.

I told my daddy that he could wear a tux or khaki pants and a button up shirt. I know he will be spending plenty on the wedding and I dont want to make him have to pay for a tux if he doesnt want to.

My dad is wearing a tux, God willing. He is 91 and has colon cancer. Considering his age, he is not getting any treatment so he's in pretty good shape otherwise. He is a vegan and works out 3x weekly so we're praying he'll be in good shape for the wedding. It's only five months away so we are hopeful. But it's a tux that matches groomsmen and yes, if he is there he will be giving me away.

I'd like for him to wear a tux, but I'm ok if he nixes the idea and just wears one of his suits.

Walked me down the aisle. Just a black suit and a tie that matched my mom.

My step-dad and my mom are both doing it. Mom asked if he could be in a tux to match the GMs so she doesn't have to figure anything out. I thought it was a great idea.

My husband and my Daddy wore matching black suits with plum vests and ties:

My father has never been in my life, I'll be walking by myself. I kind of like it that way. More attention on me.

Just wanted to clarify that no one is wearing a tux at my wedding. My FH and the GMs will all be wearing suits too.
