I always thought (yeah, tacky, I know) that if people invite me for their weddings, they actually want me to be there. But now I understand people do not expect all of their guests to show up, which is also tacky. We currently have 2 tacky invitations for 2 weddings this summer. I’m wondering if we...

I always thought (yeah, tacky, I know) that if people invite me for their weddings, they actually want me to be there. But now I understand people do not expect all of their guests to show up, which is also tacky.

We currently have 2 tacky invitations for 2 weddings this summer. I’m wondering if we are among those tacky guests who should decline but to the couple’s tacky surprise, we accept? Before you say anything negative, I understand it’s tacky we haven’t RSVPed before we received the invitations.

Is it tacky if I call the couples and ask them if that really want us to show up? Or should we decline and just send them a tacky gift?

Please help, but don’t comment if you’re going to say something tacky. Thanks!

    It was really shoddy to not spell words incorrectly when talking about the grammar posts... just sayin..

    And I agree that this post is the best ever!!! Trying not to lol and wake up FH... cause that would be tacky of me...right??!!??!!

    Plus it would be tacky not to keep this going for RayRay....

    Mrs S, nope it was the usual sit down family type place. Heck if the real price for 4 burgers is $27 you know it was not Iron Chef or Wolf. She always brings it up when we are together and we just die laughing. Everyone thinks she is a pretty quiet person until they get to know her. She swears that was the last time she was drunk. I am still glad I was the DD for the night, will never forget it.

    Is it terribly shoddy of me that I want so bad to "bully" the newest WW member who's posted not 1, but TWO threads all in CAPS???!!!
