Is it weird that I bought my wedding shoes before my dress? PICS included!

I bought my shoes before I was even dating my FH lol. I used to work in the shoe dept of Macy's. The shoes were on clearance and with my coupons/employee discount I got them for $5. Can't pass up a good deal!

Just think you can take them with you when you try on dresses and get a really good sense of how it will look on your wedding day.

Love the shoes!! I was thinking of doing the same thing. I saw a pair of shoes that I loved and im tempted to just go ahead and get them. They are light blue and ivory wingtip kitten heels.

So good to have when you try on dresses! I bought brand new cowboy boots for our wedding right before dress shopping. It turned our perfect and made trying on easier!

Very nice! My shoes are gray (as are the BM dresses). My dress is considered off white (it's alabaster apparently), and I didn't want to be bothered to find the right shade of white for shoes.

I bought some really pretty gold shoes from LK Bennet, and they ended up not working with my dress. So I just bought some David's Bridal strappy heels because I didn't want to spend more money!

I didn't buy my shoes first, but mine are colored. I had them dyed purple to match the bridesmaid dresses. I absolutely love them!!!

When you see the right shoes and you know it's meant to be, you buy them! No regrets!

I bought my shoes while my dress was still on order. Then when I got my dress the ivory of the shoes didn't match. But I loved the style so I had them coloured pale green to match my bridesmaid's dress.

Cute shoes! I bought mine back in November, about 4 months after I bought my dress. I knew I did NOT want to wear white. Now I'm second guessing them (non-returnable, they were custom) and thinking about wearing flats :-/

Not weird at all. I love your shoe and love Badgley Mischka. I'm getting married in August of this year and bought my shoes in July of 2014! I loved them and they were on sale and it was no way I was going to pass up that deal.
